Drama by George

Rehearse a fully-staged short play in just 8 weekly sessions! If you ever performed in a play as a kid, you probably carry fond memories of your time onstage. Maybe you also picked up some important life skills along the way. Theatre helps kids develop confidence, creativity, teamwork skills, and self-discipline. In all of our after-school programs, we expose students to the basics of theatre while they rehearse and perform a play!

Saturday Acting and Improv Class gives mature young actors the chance to build their skills and perform a play! For the first hour of each class, we’ll focus on improvisation, learning the basics of performing without a script. Improv is a skill that every performer should have and a whole lot of fun. For the remainder of each class, we’ll rehearse a scripted play to perform at the end of our last session. Acting and Improv Class will be challenging, community-building . . . and of course, FANTASTIC! We’ll see you onstage.

Educators: Bring your students an unforgettable performing arts experience! Drama by George will engage and delight your aspiring actors with our hands-on drama workshops. We serve all ages from pre-K through high school seniors with age-appropriate learning that they'll remember.

Drama by George's summer camps put young actors onstage! Our programs always culminate in the performance of a play. We offer camps for ages 5-17.

Our school assembly programs use theatrical techniques, like storytelling and audience interaction, to address SEL topics like bullying prevention, achievement, resilience, and mental health.
