1. Information We Collect & How It Is Used
LYPS Connect collects limited information in two contexts:
When you browse or search the directory, we do not collect your name, phone number, GPS location, or email address. We retain only limited, anonymized server logs for reliability and performance.
When an authorized provider claims or updates a listing, we collect business contact information and program details needed to maintain an accurate public directory listing.
2. Cookies & Local Browser Storage
We use minimal, privacy-preserving browser storage only for essential functions:
- Theme Preference: Remembers your light mode / dark mode setting across visits.
- No Advertising Cookies: We do not use third-party advertising tracking networks (e.g., Google Ads pixels, Meta pixels, or cross-site tracking cookies).
3. Data Sharing & Security Safeguards
We maintain strict technical and administrative safeguards to protect directory records:
- No Student Records: The public directory does not request or store student records, grades, case notes, or other personally identifiable student information.
- No Sale of Data: LYPS Connect does not sell or rent provider contact lists or directory search information.
- Provider and Administrative Records: Authorized provider contact information, listing submissions, and administrative activity are stored only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the directory.
- Service Providers: Hosting, database, email, and security vendors may process limited information to operate the platform under their own security and privacy obligations.
